In the video above, you will find Pastor Ann in one of our rooms that stores our donations for the Hope in Hand Food Pantry that has been in service for 21 years, feeding the community five days a week. We have another room in one of our buildings that is nothing but new clothes, new toys, and new shoes… all waiting for our Christmas program, The Reindeer Project, which serves the community and the GISD school district. This too, we have done every year for the last 21 years. And we have yet another room in our building that is filled with a washer, dryer, showers, blankets, cots, pillows, and all sorts of toiletries ready for mission groups to come in and use our building to serve our community and in case, like in 2015, there is another disaster.

We’re ready.

This room is a mess. Much like we too, are a mess.

None of us are perfect. But we are all a mess together.

But the good news is, we love the Lord and we love one another – it doesn’t necessarily mean that we always agree. But we love each other even though we have different ideas and we love worshipping together, studying together, fellowshipping together, and mostly serving alongside one another in this incredible community that we adore.

While you are looking through our website, you will learn about our ministries and get a small taste of who we are, but only a glimpse. To fully understand us, we hope you will come to a worship service or to a small group and feel the up-close, in-person community that comes when people share time together being community inside and out. While we are not a perfect place of worship, we strive to be genuine in our calling to share the Good News of Jesus Christ and how that manifests itself in and through our lives.

FCC Rowlett has been here for 128 years and we will continue to serve this community and we welcome you to join us and to participate in anything that God is calling us to do. Amen!
