Is it important what I wear?

That's a simple one to answer....whatever you feel comfortable wearing! Most people will be dressed casually.....but some feel more comfortable wearing a sport coat and tie or a dress. It's not unusual to see people in jeans, tee shirt and tennis shoes sitting next to others wearing "church clothes". We know God is much more concerned about a person's heart....than the clothes they are wearing.

What kind of people will I meet?

Pretty ordinary people actually...in a Dallas suburb kind of way. We have a diverse cross section of people from Rowlett and surrounding communities. The one thing we all have in common is we enjoy being together to worship in a relaxed environment.

Special Services

Several special services are held during the year.

Some are held in the evening including Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday (the re-enactment of The Lord's Supper), Good Friday, Christmas Eve and Services of Healing and Prayer.

Different age groups within the church organization and lead the worship services at least once each year, Children's Sunday, Youth Sunday, and Senior Sunday.

Healing Services are once or twice a year. We believe all healing is of God. Our healing ministry does not detract from the gifts God gives through medicine and psychotherapy and is no substitute for either medicine or the proper care of one's health. Rather, it adds to our total resources for wholeness. A Service of Healing provides an atmosphere where healing can happen. The greatest healing of all is the reunion or reconciliation of a human being with God. When this happens, physical healing sometimes occurs, mental and emotional balance is often restored, spiritual health is enhanced, and relationships are healed. The basic purpose of spiritual healing is to renew and strengthen our relationship with the living Christ.
